Monday To Friday, between 10am and 1pm, we featured interviews with local groups and organisations. We tried to bring lots of information to our area, letting our community know what is going on - rather than wait until events have taken place.
The station was on air 24 hours a day, with 'live' presenters as much as possible. Through the night we carried an automated programme from our own computer system. Use of such systems is normal throughout the radio industry, at many stations people cannot tell that the programme is not live!
We aimed to have live presenters in our studio between 7am and 10pm daily, through the night a computer driven system provided a mix of music to keep the insomniacs and night workers happy, hosted by Gordon Sharpe.
We brought you interviews with community groups and service providers operating on our area, giving you the information about what was available and how to get in touch.
Friday 12th August 2005 was the final day of broadcasting... Our four week run came to and end featuring many of the presenters and we closed with Take That's 'Back for good' - which we hope to be in 2007!
