Sunday July 13th 2008 - Music in the Park 1
TMCR were active on the BANDSTAND in the park from 1pm to 4pm, playing a selection of music and giving out information about the radio station
We were joined by the Jayne McDonald Dancers
Someone had to press the buttons on stage... While the dancers entertained the crowd

Saturday 26th + Sunday 27th July 2008 - Thorne Festival
TMCR were on the TRAILER STAGE at the top of the park on both days
Setting the stage for this year's Thorne Festival - TMCR crew trying to remember what plugs in where... and Tom lets everyone know we're there.
Thanks to everyone who came to see the events on the stage
We hosted some wonderful entertainment during the weekend.
We even had a circus workshop, where the TMCR crew demonstrated their skills...or not...

This isn't the sort of staff 'training' we had in mind - giving TMCR pens out - The Fancy Dress contest, winners and judges

Sunday August 24th 2008 - Music in the park 2
TMCR were active on the BANDSTAND in the park from 1pm to 4pm, playing a selection of music and giving out information about the radio station.

Sunday September 28th 2008 - Last operating day of the summer timetable on the Miniature Railway
Throughout August and September, the minature railway people ran a childrens colouring competition. On the final day of the summer timetable the competition winners were announced and these children were awarded prizes. The Mayor of Thorne and Moorends, Cllr Carol Williams, came along to make the awards.
TMCR provided the PA and some light music during the afternoon.

Wednesday November 5th 2008 - Fireworks Display
The firework display was held at the Moorends Welfare ground as Coulman Rec was unavailable with the works for the new pavillion being built there.
TMCR will be providing the music and PA for the event, which starts at 7.30pm. Admission is free and the facilities are provided by Thorne Moorends Town Council
