| It's coming soon...! Following a period of trying to find a way forward we are now in the process of obtaining the funding required to put TMCR on the air on the 16th November 2009 A lot of work has been done in the studio to make sure we have the equipment in place. The music library has had some useful additions and the computer systems tweaked to make them sound even better. TMCR FM will cover Thorne, Moorends, Fishlake, Stainforth, Dunscroft, Hatfield and Dunsville, and more, broadcasting on 95.3FM 24 hours a day. Community Radio is a new type of radio, we are not here to pay shareholders from the profits as we are a not-for-profit group. The majority of the staff are volunteers, but we are not pirates either. This is a full licensed station. Our aim is not just to entertain you but to provide interaction with the many features we will have. TMCR will be working with many other groups and public bodies to bring you the information and news about your local area. Full time broadcasts are scheduled to start at 9.53am on 16th November 2009.

If you want to send email it's studio@tmcrfm.co.uk or click the Contact Us menu option. We are looking for new volunteers who would like to join the station NOW, rather than when we are on air and don't have time to talk to them. Not just presenters (We do NOT have Disc Jockeys!) but technical, admin, tea makers, phone answerers. If it sounds exciting then get in touch. A visit from the Mayor The Mayor of Thorne and Moorends, Cllr Carol Williams, called by the TMCR studio in November and presented our Chairman, Malcolm, with a cheque for £100 as a donation to the station in return for our participation at the recent Fireworks Display.
