Complaints
Advertising and Broadcasting standards
There are official channels through which to make a complaint about legal issues, decency and offensive material broadcast on any radio station.
Information about these bodies will be broadcast on TMCR as part of our licensing agreement.
How to make a complaint about interference
This section only applies during on-air broadcasting periods for anyone who suspects that our transmitter may be causing interference to their equipment.
Should any member of the public have a complaint about our station we ask that they initially contact the station manager at the studio. Many complaints can be dealt with amicably.
If you are experiencing interference then OfCom may be able to help. They are the body who govern all use of radio frequencies and who have provided our license to operate. All transmission equipment used by our station is to the required standards and has been installed by competent personnel.
Complaints about material broadcast by our station are also dealt with by OfCom. TMCR's management team will co-operate with OfCom at all stages to resolve any issues concerning our station.
Please contact TMCR if you require details of how to get in touch with OfCom, or visit their website at www.ofcom.org.uk.
We have an information pack that is available to anyone who believes they may be receiving interference from our transmitter and we can either give this to visitors, or post it if a name and address is left.
